I've been working on the file addition system. Most of the code for adding files is now there. It is possible to add files using magnet and ed2k links. A direct URL to the file can also be included, but only with a magnet or ed2k link. I plan to make a change to add files using only a direct URL.
File uploading will be coming along soon.
I've written the pages for downloading single files. They basically provide the option of a magnet link, ed2k link and/or a direct URL to the file, if one is available. The links that are available vary depending on what links were used to add the files to the database.
I have also added some caching to the templating system. I'm hoping this will reduce the length of time it takes to generate a page, as I have noticed it can take a while. However, I think the real delay is that the database server is being overloaded somewhere. It is shared hosting afterall.
If anyone can provide some hosting with PHP/MySQL or other database system free, or for less than ?50 per year, please get in touch. Just remember I'll be needing a lot of storage space.
Due to come of the changes with the caches, there will likely be errors of some sort. Please report anything that doesn't look right, i.e. incorrect text, etc.
