I've made several big changes to the way URLs are handled.
The changes should make the system much more flexible. The change will allow for the use of shorter URLs for artists.
For example, where the old URL may have been http://www.soundnet.co.uk/a/26873645/ it might now be http://www.soundnet.co.uk/myurl, the obvious advantage being that this is much easier to remember. This feature will only be available to artists, not individual users.
If you would like your own URL please send a PM to Higgy including the current URL of your artist profile and the name you would like for the URL.
Some of the changes are likely to cause some problems. Please check that everything works ok. If you encounter any missing pages, source tracker not working, etc, please let me know.
