I'd like to start a system of allowing users to send money to artists.
Simplest would be a system similar to the donation to projects/developers on sourceforge; that is, having a donate button on the artist profile page. I think this should be an opt-in thing, but that can be up for debate here.
I'm going to implement this anyway unless anyone has any reasonable objections.
A couple of more complicated ideas, that could also work quite nicely, are up for discussion in a more private setting. Post a reply to 'the quiet place' and I'll decide whether to allow you access.
