DAPs as in Digital Audio Players. iPoos, for example.

Does anyone have one? If so, what make/model?

I recently bought an iRiver h340 on ebay. Ooh, colour screen. Main attraction was that I can run Rockbox on it and they're fairly solidly built. The screen doesn't crack because you put the thing in your pocket, anyway. Also the battery can be replaced easily enough (if you know what you're doing) and in fact can be replaced with one that'll give up to a days playing time. I could also put up to an 80GB hard drive in there, too, if I really wanted (and could afford such a thing).

It's nice. I like it. Looks like this:



Also, it plays OGG Vorbis, which was another main attraction.

So, anyone else have anything?

Actually, Rockbox has now been ported to iPoo so it is possible to turn it into a remotely decent player as well as a fashion icon.

It is a Rockbox, yes. I think I'm going to have to sell it to fund my crack addiction. Ha, no. I need a new PSU, a hard drive, probably a network cable and I'd like a DVD-RW. That will be all.

Y'know, I probably won't get around to putting it on ebay so it might end up that you borrow it indefinately...

Well, TBH I would like to be able to keep it but what would be the point in me having the two? Hmm, decideings... Buffet now having my computer, too (when I can manage to get the Win2k installer to run...) which a really limited hard drive capacity, I'm sure the extra 20GB would be useful... I'd find it so, at least...

The computer is probably slow because the hard drives are, not because they're of limited capacity.
